**Position Objective:** We are seeking a professional passionate about data analytics and teaching, with proven experience in Power BI, to deliver a comprehensive 32-hour course. The instructor will be responsible for guiding students from foundational concepts to advanced techniques in data visualization, modeling, and analysis, preparing them to tackle real-world challenges. **1. Technical Requirements and Experience (Mandatory):** * **Proven Experience in Power BI:** * Minimum of 3\-5 years of hands-on experience using Power BI (Desktop and Service) in professional environments. * Advanced proficiency in: creating interactive reports and dashboards, data modeling (Power Query/DAX), and analysis using basic Artificial Intelligence. * Experience integrating Power BI with diverse data sources (SQL Server, Excel, APIs, etc.) **International Certification (Exclusive Requirement):** * Must hold at least **one of the following official Microsoft certifications** (or their current equivalent): * **Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate** (PL\-300\) \- **Highly Preferred**. * Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate. * Microsoft Certified: Azure Enterprise Data Analyst Associate. * Certifications from other reputable providers (e.g., Tableau, Qlik) will only be considered if accompanied by exceptional Power BI experience. **Teaching Experience:** * Minimum of 2 years delivering training, courses, or workshops, either in-person, virtually, or both. * Demonstrated ability to explain complex concepts clearly and accessibly to audiences with varying levels of knowledge. **2. Desired Skills and Competencies:** * **Communication and Didactic Skills:** * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Patience and empathy to support student learning throughout the 8-month duration. * Ability to foster a collaborative and participatory learning environment. * **Complementary Technical Skills:** * Knowledge of SQL query language. * Familiarity with fundamentals of workspace administration and governance in Power BI Service. * Understanding of basic data science and statistics concepts. * **Other Qualities:** * High level of organization to structure a 32-hour syllabus. * Creativity to develop practical exercises, case studies, and applied projects. * Commitment to continuous learning, staying updated with new Power BI features. **3. Key Responsibilities:** * Design and/or adapt the curriculum (syllabus) for the 32 hours, ensuring logical and comprehensive topic progression. * Deliver class sessions dynamically and engagingly. * Develop and supervise practical projects, exercises, and assessments simulating real-world scenarios. * Provide constructive and personalized feedback to students. * Guide and motivate students throughout the course duration, resolving both technical and conceptual questions. * Effectively utilize teaching platforms (Zoom, Teams, LMS such as Moodle or Canvas). **Plus/Differentiator (What will make the candidate stand out):** * Portfolio of public Power BI dashboards or reports (e.g., published on LinkedIn profile or Microsoft community). * Participation in the Power BI community (forums, blogs, user groups). * Experience preparing students for the PL\-300 certification. * Knowledge of Power BI Embedded or advanced automation capabilities with Power Automate. **Contract:** Average salary above market average according to qualifications.
