Junior Project Engineer

Position Summary: We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with experience in mining and industry, EPC/EPCM projects, and piping and boiler system design, for a dynamic and collaborative environment. Key Highlights: 1. Experience in EPC and EPCM projects in the mining and industrial sectors. 2. Design and development of piping and boiler systems. 3. Problem-solving ability, leadership, and teamwork. A mechanical engineer with solid experience in the mining and industrial sectors, and knowledge of EPC and EPCM projects. Competent in the design and development of piping and boiler systems, as well as in basic and detailed engineering. Capable of working in dynamic and collaborative environments. Education * Bachelor's degree or graduate in Mechanical Engineering (including Fluid Mechanics and Mechanical-Electrical) * 2–3 years of experience in mining projects or engineering consulting firms. * Postgraduate diploma in Project Management and Agile Methodologies (not mandatory) Technical Skills * Tools: Excel, Advanced MS Project, AutoCAD, AFT Fathom * Pumping, HVAC, and piping system calculations. (desirable) * Preparation of technical documents and Level 03 project schedules (with resources). (desirable) * Additional knowledge: Industrial ventilation, safety and quality regulations. (desirable) Competencies * Ability to resolve and adapt to technical challenges. * Strong leadership and teamwork skills. * Results-oriented and committed to continuous improvement. Responsibilities * Plan, coordinate, and supervise project activities. * Establish the project phase schedule. * Verify compliance with required codes, practices, regulations, and specifications. * Document progress and ensure adherence to deadlines. * Control costs. * Coordinate with work teams, suppliers, and clients. * Perform calculations, simulations, and assessments. * Prepare summaries, reports, presentations, and documentation. * Develop project schedules. * Review engineering drawings.
