Engineering Assistant – Quantity Surveying and Budgeting Location: Lima, Peru (on-site mode – technical office) Position type: Full-time Area: Civil Engineering / Cost Estimation and Budgeting We are looking for a Bachelor's degree holder in Civil Engineering with solid experience in the field of Costs, Budgeting, and Quantity Surveying to join our technical team in Lima. We seek a committed, analytical professional with skills for collaborative office work, oriented towards accuracy and efficiency in the development of technical files and construction projects. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Minimum of 2 years of experience as an assistant, analyst, or coordinator in cost estimation and budgeting (during technical file preparation or construction phase). Proficiency in computer tools: Microsoft Office (intermediate-to-advanced Excel), S10 – budgeting module, AutoCAD, and Revit. Knowledge in reading drawings from different disciplines, quantity takeoff calculations, unit price analysis (UPA), and general expenses. Familiarity with the National Building Regulations (RNE) and the Measurement Regulations. Knowledge of construction scheduling, preparation of timelines, and MS Project usage. Main Responsibilities: Prepare quantity surveys, budgets, and unit price analyses for building projects. Develop technical specifications and technical documentation for project files. Create construction schedules and progress-based valuations. Manage quotations, comparative tables, and budget control.
