Design, document, and execute functional and non-functional test cases. **SOFTWARE QUALITY ANALYST \- QA** **JOB DESCRIPTION:** We are looking for a QA Tester committed to ensuring the functional, visual, and technical quality of software developments, validating that each functionality meets defined criteria, operates without errors, and delivers a consistent end-user experience. **1\. Education Level**: Graduate, bachelor's degree holder, or technical/university degree holder in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields. **2\. Experience**: 1–2 years of experience participating in QA within software development environments; experience validating APIs and microservices is desirable. **3\. Age**: Between 25 and 35 years old. **SPECIALIZATION, COURSES, WORKSHOPS, DIPLOMAS, OR OTHERS:** * Software Testing courses or programs * Knowledge of agile methodologies and frameworks (SCRUM, desirable) * Basic knowledge of automated testing (e.g., Selenium, Postman for API) * Basic knowledge of test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr) **PERSONAL COMPETENCIES (SOFT SKILLS):** * Teamwork * Communication * Problem solving * Critical thinking * Self-management * Proactivity * Adaptability **TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (HARD SKILLS):** * Excel – basic level (mandatory) * English – basic level (desirable) * Database and SQL queries – basic level (mandatory) * Test case design – intermediate level (mandatory) * Agile methodologies (Jira) – basic level (desirable) * Knowledge of user experience and value creation (mandatory) **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Design, document, and execute functional and non-functional test cases for omnichannel messaging services (email, SMS, WhatsApp, etc.), recording results from executed tests. * Validate new and existing platform functionalities, including APIs, third-party integrations, and our own APK. * Verify that functionalities meet acceptance criteria defined by Product. * Perform regression and smoke testing for each system version or deployment. * Validate system behavior across various scenarios, including edge cases, expected errors, and user interactions. * Execute tests in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or similar). * Identify and document defects and/or bugs, delivery errors, performance issues, latencies, and anomalous behaviors using tools such as Jira, Zendesk, etc. * Track errors found during testing. * Collaborate closely with developers to understand requirements and functionalities, detect flaws in processing flows, message queues, and distributed architecture. * Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and designers to understand requirements and define acceptance criteria. * Participate in agile development cycles (Scrum) and contribute to quality improvements in the testing workflow and tools used. * Participate in load, scalability, and platform availability testing (using tools such as Postman, JMeter, etc.). * Test REST API endpoints (validation of headers, status codes, response structure) using tools such as Postman. * And others. **BENEFITS:** * Formal employment registration * Comprehensive health insurance * 15 days of vacation * Statutory life insurance * Positive work environment * Access to online courses * Training programs * Professional growth Employment type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: S/.1,800\.00 \- S/.2,000\.00 per month Work format: On-site Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM–7 PM (on-site); Saturday, 9 AM–12 PM (remote) Work location: Santiago de Surco Employment type: Full-time Salary: S/.1,800\.00 \- S/.2,000\.00 per month Work location: On-site employment
