




Position Summary: Plan, supervise, and ensure strawberry production while meeting quality, yield, and traceability standards for supply to IQF processing plants and export markets. Plan, supervise, and ensure strawberry production while meeting quality, yield, and traceability standards for continuous supply to IQF processing plants and export markets. Responsibilities: Crop Planning * Develop planting schedules. * Define planting density. * Schedule production campaigns. * Estimate yield per hectare. Soil Preparation * Conduct soil analysis. * Adjust pH levels. * Apply organic matter. * Install raised beds and mulch. * Install drip irrigation systems. Irrigation and Fertigation Management * Schedule irrigation according to phenological stages. * Monitor electrical conductivity (EC). * Apply balanced fertilization. * Track water consumption. Phytosanitary Management * Continuously monitor pests (mites, thrips, aphids). * Control diseases (botrytis, powdery mildew, rots). * Apply authorized agrochemicals. * Comply with SENASA regulations. * Implement integrated pest management (IPM). Growth and Production Supervision * Assess vegetative development. * Monitor flowering and fruit set. * Measure Brix degrees (sweetness). * Control fruit size and firmness. Harvest Supervision * Schedule daily harvests. * Supervise field selection. * Ensure proper handling to prevent damage. * Minimize losses. * Guarantee fruit suitability for IQF freezing. REQUIRED PROFILE Education: * Licensed and registered Agricultural Engineer. * Minimum 2 or 1 year of experience in strawberry crop management. * Experience in agro-export (desirable).
