




Job Summary: Coordinate and supervise SSOMA (Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental Management) system compliance, ensuring proper solid waste management and delivering occupational safety and health training. Key Responsibilities: 1. Manages SSOMA system compliance in solid waste management. 2. Conducts SSOMA inspections, monitoring, and report preparation. 3. Provides training and supports safety and environmental management. At MAFIE SAC — a solid waste management operator with 21 years of leadership in integrated management and resource valorization, adopting a circular economy and Zero Waste to Landfill approach — we are seeking top talent for the position of JUNIOR SSOMA SUPERVISOR. What Are We Looking For? Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering. Minimum 1 year of experience in solid waste management. Occupational safety and health training courses. Courses or diplomas in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) and environmental regulations. Knowledge of ISO 9001\-2015, ISO 14001\-2015, ISO 45001\-2018, ISO 37001\-2016, and ISO 53800:2024\. First aid knowledge. Hazard identification, risk assessment, and control measures. Willingness to work on-site in Ventanilla. Working Hours: Monday: 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Tuesday to Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. Main Responsibilities: Coordinate and supervise compliance with the Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental Management (SSOMA) system. Monitor the company’s solid waste disposal practices. Conduct internal inspections and monitor substandard conditions and acts. Handle administrative procedures required by the Environmental Management Department. Verify and control proper documentation and records within the area. Prepare activity reports and summaries. Ensure, through coordination and supervision, that workers and contractors comply with procedures and properly manage SSOMA documentation. Deliver safety training, inductions, and safety talks to staff. Monitor implementation of the Annual Occupational Safety and Health Program. Participate in Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (IPERC). Supervise emergency equipment, signage, and solid waste management. Coordinate wellness activities such as active breaks and internal campaigns. Support PPE management and implementation of safety and environmental improvements. What Do We Offer?
