Job Summary: Carry out charging and preparation activities for blasting operations, ensuring the correct use of explosives and accessories in compliance with procedures and regulations. Key Responsibilities: 1. Field execution of safe and efficient blasting operations 2. Ensuring the correct use of explosives and accessories 3. Coordination for proper connection according to the blast design Mission or Objective: Execute field activities related to charging and preparation of blast initiation, ensuring the correct use of explosives and blasting accessories, thereby guaranteeing safe, efficient blasting operations in accordance with internal procedures, Enaex standards, and current regulations. Responsibilities: * Immediately address any deviation or failure detected in blasting accessories during charging or connection. * Ensure that connections of detonators, detonating cord, assembled detonators, and quick match are carried out in accordance with corporate procedures and Enaex technical standards. * Verify the correct sequence, continuity, and length of the initiation system prior to loading and firing. * Coordinate with the client’s and Enaex’s supervisors to ensure proper connection according to the blast design. * Carry out field connection of the blasting initiation system, meeting the operational timeframes established by the client and supervision. Requirements: * Minimum 1 year of experience in blasting processes. * Completed secondary education. * Proficiency in handling blasting accessories and initiation systems. * National regulations on explosives and blasting accessories. * Procedures for lockout, signage, and control of blasting areas.
