




Position Summary: Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering professional with leadership capability to manage teams and improve operational continuity, ensuring safety and quality. Implementation of mechanical maintenance standards * **Education:** Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering professional specializing in Plant Maintenance, with leadership capability to manage work teams and make decisions, oriented toward improving plant operational continuity and strict compliance with safety and quality standards. * **Experience:** Minimum 3 years in similar positions within mining companies’ mechanical maintenance departments at Processing Plants. * **Essential Functions and Technical Knowledge:** \- Coordinate mechanical and electrical maintenance activities with various maintenance and production departments for scheduling. \- Supervise and coordinate with workshop supervisors and technicians for proper execution and closure of work orders. \- Coordinate with logistics, import, and warehouse departments for timely procurement and delivery of orders. \- Manage overall maintenance of plant equipment and facilities to ensure cost-effective and timely utilization of personnel, equipment, and other resources to meet reliability and availability requirements. \- Lead the definition and implementation of plant mechanical maintenance standards. \- Promote the transfer of best practices and provide support in their implementation. \- Know and comply with established work standards and procedures. \- Verify the status and condition of plant machinery or equipment prior to performing mechanical maintenance tasks. \- Execute maintenance inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance on various crushing, grinding, and leaching equipment according to the maintenance schedule and supervisor’s instructions. \- Alignment of mill transmission systems. \- Perform partial and full assembly/disassembly of equipment for mechanical repair purposes, replacing parts and reporting their condition. \- Conduct daily inspections of plant machinery to identify deviations or inconsistencies affecting operation. \- Supervise and perform welding, conveyor belt vulcanization, equipment temperature and vibration measurements at the plant. \- Knowledge of wet-seal, dry-seal, and mechanical seals; industrial valves; bearing installation; tribology; hydraulics; and mineral transport systems. \- Care, maintenance, cleaning, preservation, and safety of tools and equipment under one’s responsibility. \- Report tool, spare part, and material requirements to supervision for optimal job performance. \- Occupational Health and Safety (protocols, use of PPE). \- Proficiency in MS Office, especially intermediate Excel for reporting. * **Soft Skills:** \- Leadership and team management. \- Strong decision-making and problem-solving ability. \- Assertive communication. * **Additional Requirements:** \- Availability to work under an atypical mining work regime of 20 days on / 10 days off. Salary: S/.3,000.00 \- S/.3,500.00 per month Work Location: On-site employment
