Collaboration with analytics and business teams DESCRIPTION A leading company in the construction sector is looking for a professional to fill the position of Data Engineer, with the following responsibilities: * Design and maintain **ETL/ELT** processes for data integration. * Build and administer **data lakes and data warehouses**. * Ensure **data quality, governance, availability, and security**. * Monitor and optimize **data pipelines**. * Collaborate with analytics and business teams to enable data usage. * Integrate new information sources into the data ecosystem. * Document data architectures and data flows. * Provide technical support and ensure compliance with data regulations. REQUIREMENTS * Bachelor’s degree or higher in **Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering**, or related fields. * **2 to 4 years of experience** in data engineering, BI, or analytics projects. * Experience in building and maintaining **data pipelines**. * **AWS required**, minimum 1 year of experience (Lambda, Glue). * Programming in **Python (advanced)**; Java or Scala (desirable). * Knowledge of Big Data (Hadoop, Spark) and NoSQL databases. * Experience with **CI/CD**, **GIT** repositories, and deployments using **Azure DevOps**. * Desired experience integrating with **SAP S/4HANA**, **SAP Datasphere**, and industrial platforms (PI System). * Data integration via **APIs**, system connectivity, and AWS services (DMS, AppFlow).
