Position Summary: Newrest is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support pre-preparation and preparation of dishes, sauce and side dish preparation, and plating in its catering operations. Key Highlights: 1. Essential support in the pre-preparation and preparation of various dishes. 2. Assistance in preparing sauces, side dishes, and salads. 3. Active participation in the plating of assigned preparations. Newrest is a multinational company specializing in catering, currently operating in over 58 countries and present in Peru for the past 13 years. Focused on gastronomy, our operations span Airline Catering, Concessions, and Remote Site Services—covering food service, maintenance, and hospitality within the latter. **REQUIREMENTS:** * Completed secondary education. * And/or relevant work experience validating and supporting your knowledge. * Minimum of 6 months’ experience in similar positions. * Availability to work from MONDAY TO SATURDAY, 7 AM to 4 PM. * Willingness to work overtime (PAID OVERTIME). * Must reside in areas adjacent to San Isidro (MANDATORY). **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Assist the chef and/or head chef with pre-preparation and/or preparation of dishes. * Prepare sauces, side dishes, salads, and others. * Perform mise en place. * Support in the preparation and plating assigned to you. * Assist in any tasks assigned by your immediate supervisor. **BENEFITS:** * Formal payroll enrollment from day one. * Base salary + bonuses + 100% covered meals. * Monthly payments.
