**Main Responsibilities**
* **Budgetary Analysis and Control:** Monitor and analyze variances between actual and budgeted costs (OPEX and CAPEX), identifying operational deviations and cost-saving opportunities.
* **Operational Costing:** Determine and evaluate unit production costs per operational area (mine, concentrator plant, maintenance, logistics, and support services).
* **Financial Reporting:** Consolidate and present periodic cost reports, key performance indicators (KPIs), and profitability analyses for management review.
* **Project Evaluation:** Collaborate in the formulation and monitoring of the Annual Budget, and in the financial evaluation of investment projects or operational efficiency initiatives.
* **Inventory Management and Valuation:** Control inventories of supplies, spare parts, and stockpiled minerals, ensuring accurate cost allocation and valuation in accordance with accounting policies.
* **Interdepartmental Coordination:** Work closely with operational departments (Mine, Plant, Maintenance, Procurement) to reconcile consumption of critical inputs (fuel, reagents, energy, spare parts).
**Requirements**
* **Academic Qualification:** Bachelor's degree or professional title in Accounting, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.
* **Experience:** Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in similar roles involving cost analysis, budgeting, or management control; experience in the mining, industrial, or heavy construction sectors is preferred.
* **Technical Knowledge:**
* Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, and data analysis).
* Expertise in ERP systems (SAP modules CO/MM/FI, Oracle, or similar).
* Solid knowledge of cost accounting and corporate finance.
* **Key Competencies:** Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, critical thinking, teamwork, and effective communication skills.
* **Availability:** Willingness to work under a mining labor regime or at headquarters with periodic visits to the operational unit as required by the position.
