Job Summary: We are seeking an independent Technical Support Technician to perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance of computers and multi-brand printers within the Province. Key Highlights: 1. Technical support for PCs, laptops, and multi-brand printers. 2. Proficiency in Windows operating systems and network installation. 3. Experience in preventive and corrective hardware maintenance. Job Description: We are a technology services partner and are currently seeking a Technical Support Technician for the Province to provide service for computers and multi-brand printers (Lexmark, Xerox, HP, Brother, among others). Work will be performed on-demand per customer requests, under an independent contractor arrangement (not payroll-based). \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ Main Responsibilities: For computer equipment (PCs and laptops): * Diagnostics, repair, and preventive/corrective maintenance. * Installation and configuration of operating systems (Windows, basic Linux). * Formatting, data backup, migration, and recovery. * Hardware assembly and upgrades. For printers (Lexmark, Xerox, HP, Brother, etc.): * Driver installation, configuration, and updates. * Preventive maintenance (cleaning, calibration, consumables inspection). * Corrective maintenance (paper jams, print quality issues, part replacement). * Network configuration (IP settings, print queues, shared printers). * Diagnosis of electronic and mechanical failures. * Equipment status review and reporting. \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ Requirements: * Technical degree in Computing, Electronics, Informatics, or related fields. * Minimum 1 year of experience in PC, laptop, and printer support. * Solid knowledge of hardware and software. * Proficiency in Windows operating systems (mandatory). * Basic networking knowledge (e.g., network printer setup). * Customer-oriented attitude, proactivity, and strong communication skills. * Immediate availability to work within the Province (cases will be assigned in the city where the technician resides). Employment Type: Part-time Salary: S/.20\.00 \- S/.50\.00 per day Expected Hours: 2 per week Work Location: Regular travel required
