Tools: Basic Premiere, CapCut Pro or similar, Illustrator, Photoshop. * Skill in advising leaders across various departments—understanding their needs and transforming them into clear, actionable messages. **What challenges will you face?** * Promote a customer-centric culture to deepen client relationships and leverage the Bank’s extensive networks, systems, and expertise. * Co-design and implement communication strategies and action plans for different vice-presidencies—ensuring alignment with organizational culture, audience-specific focus, appropriate media mix, and enterprise objectives. * Propose and manage virtual media strategies—including growth-oriented approaches for followers, reach, and engagement on internal social platforms—to encourage broader adoption across the organization. * Ensure global–local cultural coherence through communications to drive higher participation, acting as a liaison with the International Banking team. * Advise HRBPs, Centers of Excellence (COEs), and various Bank departments in developing communication plans aligned with business strategy and the Bank’s cultural transformation. * Manage the full lifecycle of internal communication campaigns—from concept development through implementation oversight—with the aim of producing content consistent with organizational culture. * Create content and storytelling for internal virtual media, traditional channels, and diverse human communication spaces—reflecting Scotiabank’s culture and corporate strategy—to continue building the best place to work and position the Bank as an outstanding employer brand for current and future talent. * Coordinate execution of virtual and in-person Town Halls for International Banking, Executive Management, and Vice-Presidencies—ensuring frequent, close communication by leaders. * Identify quantitative and qualitative insights and findings through internal communication measurements, internal media reporting, and surveys such as Great Place To Work and Merco—to propose improvements and optimize campaign targeting. * Ensure compliance with the Internal Communications Policy and maintain a communication style consistent with organizational culture. * Identify best practices in internal communications across Group companies and the broader market—for adaptation or implementation aligned with corporate culture. * Coordinate management of external vendors required to execute planned communication activities. * Support internal communications budget control through expense tracking and analysis—enabling cost savings and resource optimization. * Contribute to the architecture of internal corporate image and identity, safeguarding the Bank’s image among Scotiabankers. * Understand the Bank’s risk culture and how risk appetite must inform daily activities and decisions. * Actively conduct efficient and effective operations within respective areas while ensuring the adequacy, compliance, and effectiveness of daily business controls—fulfilling obligations aimed at mitigating operational risk, regulatory non-compliance risk, money laundering and terrorist financing risk, and conduct risk—including responsibilities outlined under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, International Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing Manual, and Business Conduct Guidelines. * Foster a high-performance environment and implement a workforce strategy that attracts, retains, develops, and motivates the team—achieving this by cultivating an inclusive workplace, communicating vision, values, and business strategy, and maintaining a succession and development plan for the team.
