Opportunity for career growth in the mining sector **Blasting Assistant – Underground Mining** *Location: Mining project* *Work regime: Mining (camp-based)* We are looking for a **Blasting Assistant** to support blasting activities in underground mining operations, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and productivity standards. **Main Responsibilities:** * Assist in the preparation, transportation, and loading of explosives. * Support the blasting process under the supervision of the blaster. * Adhere to safety procedures and explosive handling protocols. * Inspect site conditions before and after blasting. * Perform cleaning and preparation of working faces. * Participate in safety meetings and comply with IPERC. * Report incidents, unsafe acts, or substandard conditions. **Requirements:** * Completed secondary education. * Minimum 6 months of experience in underground mining (blasting experience preferred). * Basic knowledge of explosive handling (preferred). * Willingness to work at high altitude (+4000 msnm). **Competencies:** * Responsibility and discipline. * Teamwork. * Commitment to safety. * Proactivity and continuous learning. **We Offer:** * Formal employment registration. * Meals, accommodation, and transportation provided. * Opportunity for career growth in the mining sector.
