The Operations and Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the proper execution of operational activities at Service Centers, guaranteeing high standards of quality, safety, and productivity in the assembly and repair processes of FLSmidth equipment, in accordance with the established production schedule. Likewise, leads the implementation and supervision of the comprehensive maintenance plan for the plant and Service Center facilities, coordinating the execution of scheduled tasks with responsible departments and managing specialized subcontractors for specific maintenance activities. Responsibilities also include managing preventive maintenance of equipment, tools, and internal resources to maximize operational availability and ensure continuity of operations. Your responsibilities* Coordinate and supervise, in close collaboration with Service Center personnel, repair, assembly, manufacturing, and reconditioning plans for mining machinery equipment and components, ensuring efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement in operations. * Monitor and report progress on ongoing work through weekly reports, ensuring visibility and control over management at Service Centers. * Perform technical inspections across various repair and maintenance processes, ensuring compliance with established standards and work instructions defined by the technical office. * Optimize production costs through strategies that reduce repair and manufacturing times, increasing workshop productivity and competitiveness. * Develop, execute, and supervise the preventive and corrective maintenance plan (annual and monthly) for Service Centers, including equipment, tools, and facilities, ensuring their operability and continuity. * Control and forecast costs and expenses related to maintenance service execution at Service Centers, ensuring budgetary efficiency. * Coordinate and supervise external subcontractor work, verifying correct execution of activities according to established quality, safety, and timeline requirements. * Lead and supervise the internal electromechanical team in executing maintenance plans, ensuring adherence to technical, safety, and quality standards. * Design, implement, and monitor management indicators (KPIs) such as equipment availability, MTTR, and MTBF to measure and improve operational efficiency. * Plan daily maintenance and repair activities, ensuring resource availability (technical documentation, tools, equipment, lifting devices, etc.) and compliance with safety, quality, and productivity standards. * Carry out other duties assigned by immediate supervisors, aligned with the organization's operational objectives.
