We are currently seeking a Social Specialist who meets the following profile: REQUIREMENTS: Anthropologist and/or Sociologist and/or Bachelor's Degree in Social Work and/or Bachelor's Degree in Communication. FUNCTIONS B.A. Social Specialist \- Technical File Audit and Verification: Review the technical file regarding social management, ensuring that the strategies and measures proposed by the contractor are consistent with project requirements and the current social context. \- Assessment of Background and Social Context: Analyze the project background and social context, focusing supervision on how the contractor integrates this information into daily management and reflects it in interactions with communities. \- Coordination and Reporting of Social Incidents: Maintain constant coordination with project administration and related specialists, supervising and documenting any social incidents reported by the contractor, and verifying implementation of conflict prevention and resolution strategies. \- Supervision of Stakeholder Mapping and Conflict Management: Confirm that the contractor conducts appropriate stakeholder mapping, supervise effective identification of key groups or individuals, and ensure proactive addressing of expectations and concerns related to compensation. \- Prioritization of Vulnerable Populations: Verify that the contractor identifies and provides priority attention to vulnerable populations, in accordance with the Involuntary Resettlement and Compensation Plan (PACRI), if applicable, and supervise implementation and follow-up of necessary support measures. \- Validation of Affected Population Directory: Review and validate the updated directory of affected population prepared by the contractor; confirm that information is complete and effectively used for communication and follow-up. \- Monitoring of Information and Awareness Activities: Supervise information and awareness activities conducted by the contractor, ensuring that informational talks and minutes-signing processes are transparent and foster trust among parties. \- Accompaniment during Inspection Processes: Assist and supervise inspections carried out by officials, evaluating whether the contractor adequately presents and considers the social perspective. \- Progress and Compliance Reports: Prepare detailed monthly reports on the social management carried out by the contractor, including progress in implementing agreements and responses to queries and concerns raised by affected communities. \- Submit the monthly report of activities performed. \- Others as per specialization and/or technical file and/or supervisor’s and/or entity’s requirements. Our Recruiters are in charge of the end\-to\-end selection process for all non\-agents requirements in TELUS Digital and we also handle the selection process for positions with a global scope. We post jobs on internal portals mainly but also reach out to those qualified external candidates when required. The role also involves: Assessing the applicants and conducting interviews in order to present approved candidates to management. **Responsibilities:** **Create Job Postings** * The Recruitment Analyst IV helps to craft and post job listings on job recruitment boards and other websites to attract skilled applicants. * The Recruitment Analyst IV works closely with hiring managers to identify the role’s key duties and core competencies along with any educational or certification requirements before posting the job and opening it to applicants. **Locate Candidates** * Use internal channels to identify candidates with the necessary skills sets for the sought position. * Use online external channels to identify external candidates and provide relevant information to them about TELUS Digital and squares for being considered. **Process Candidates** * Recruitment Analyst IV is responsible for screening resumes to determine which candidates meet the minimum requirements and move chosen candidates on to the next step in the hiring process. * Validate language proficiency and diagnose technical and personal competences through automated assessment tools. * Recruitment Analyst IV is responsible for conducting initial interviews to narrow the number of potential candidates who will be interviewed by the hiring manager. **Support Fair Hiring Practices** Support overall company adherence to fair hiring practices by periodically reviewing hiring and interviewing processes and assessing job postings to ensure that they are free of bias.
