Technical Support Engineer (L1) **Responsibilities and Duties** We are seeking a Level 1 Technical Support Engineer to provide support to government clients in the administration, monitoring, and basic to intermediate resolution of incidents related to Fortinet security solutions (primarily FortiGate), ensuring operational continuity, compliance with security policies, and proper escalation to higher support levels when necessary. * Monitor and analyze alerts generated by Fortinet devices (FortiGate, FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager, etc.). * Handle requests and incidents related to basic-intermediate configurations of Fortinet firewalls (Web Filter Profiles, VPN user creation, security policies, security rules, routing, etc.) * Provide solutions for corporate clients by optimally using existing resources (VLAN, IPS, CPES, etc.) * Perform initial diagnostics, basic troubleshooting, and event documentation. * Keep incident logs and tickets updated in the management tool defined by the client. * Troubleshoot using tools such as ping, traceroute, sniffers, packet capture. * Participate in periodic operational reviews with the support team and client. * Participate in scheduled maintenance and change windows (RFC).
