Job Summary: Licensed and registered Civil Engineer with experience in preparing technical files for government projects, designing structures, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams. Multidisciplinary coordination and quality assurance of deliverables. **Education:** *Licensed and registered Civil Engineer.* **Experience:** *5 to 8 years of experience preparing technical files for government projects within consulting firms.* **Main Responsibilities:** * *Design concrete, steel, and masonry structures for both standard and critical/essential buildings in public and private investment projects, such as: airport infrastructure, highway bridge works, sanitation projects, penitentiary centers, among others.* * *Develop structural discipline documents for engineering files, including: design criteria, descriptive reports, calculation reports, technical specifications, itemized cost lists, quantity take-offs, reports, etc.* * *Review and analyze results and reports from basic and preliminary studies.* * *Participate in multidisciplinary technical coordination meetings.* * *Use vendor-provided information and collaborate with personnel from other disciplines as required for design development.* * *Coordinate with modelers to develop BIM models and discipline-specific drawings.* * *Provide modelers with the necessary technical information for design definitions.* * *Review and ensure the quality of project deliverables under their responsibility.* * *Review multidisciplinary deliverables.* * *Coordinate with other disciplines to integrate the technical file.* * *Participate in reviewing and addressing observations raised on technical files.* * *Review designs prepared by less experienced engineers.* * *Perform other duties inherent to the position as assigned by their immediate supervisor.* **Knowledge:** * *Strong knowledge of national structural design standards (RNE: E.020, E.030, E.060, E.070, E.090) and international standards (ACI, AISC, ASCE, AWS, AASHTO, FEMA).* * *Proficiency in structural analysis software: SAP2000, ETABS, SAFE, IDEAStatica.* * *Proficiency in AutoCAD (Mandatory), Revit and Navisworks (Desirable).* * *Proficiency in English language (Desirable).* **Soft Skills:** * *Effective communication (oral and written).* * *Teamwork.* * *Problem- or conflict-resolution ability.* * *Adaptability to change.* * *Self-management.* * *Leadership.* Employment Type: Full-time Work Location: On-site employment
