Position Summary: We are seeking a proactive and strategic Technical Lead to lead development and infrastructure teams, combining PHP and AWS to ensure stability and optimize complex workflows. The ideal candidate must combine expert backend development skills with PHP and substantial hands-on experience in architecting and deploying services on Amazon Web Services (AWS). This role will be pivotal in ensuring the stability of critical platforms, optimizing complex logical workflows, and serving as the technical bridge in business process management and crisis resolution. **Work Mode:** Hybrid in San Isidro **Working Hours:** Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Responsibilities **Leadership and Architecture:** Lead software design, enforce programming best practices (SOLID, Clean Code), and supervise the team’s technical execution. **Development and Optimization:** Ensure performance and scalability of critical applications built on PHP and JavaScript ecosystems. **Workflow Orchestration:** Design, implement, and maintain complex logical workflows and automations using Node\-RED. **Cloud Management:** Configure, operate, and ensure high availability of services and infrastructure within AWS. **Data Governance:** Oversee relational database modeling and apply performance optimization and caching strategies. **Incident Management:** Lead assertive communication and technical resolution strategies for critical production incidents or crises. Requirements Required Experience More than 5 years of experience in enterprise software development. At least 2–3 years in technical leadership roles such as Tech Lead, Senior Developer, or similar. Experience leading cross-functional teams and actively participating in technology decision-making. Technical Knowledge Development and Frameworks Advanced proficiency in PHP, Laravel, ASP.NET, and Angular. Experience designing and implementing robust, scalable enterprise solutions. Deep understanding of SOLID principles, Clean Code, and development best practices. Software Architecture Extensive experience in software architecture and design patterns. Ability to define modern, resilient, and maintainable architectures. Experience proposing and leading technology modernization initiatives, including: Microservice-based architectures. Serverless solutions. Event-driven architectures. Legacy system migration and transformation. Quality and DevOps Advanced experience in code review and code quality assurance. Champion of a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement. Knowledge and application of PHPUnit and XUnit. Databases Strong expertise in relational and non-relational database modeling and optimization. Experience with MySQL, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL. Ability to optimize SQL queries, data structures, and storage strategies. Security and Performance Security-by-design approach throughout the entire development lifecycle. Experience identifying and mitigating software vulnerabilities. **Performance Engineering Expertise:** Query optimization. Caching strategies. Application scalability. Monitoring and continuous performance improvement. Technical Management and Leadership Demonstrable experience in technical management of software projects. Ability to plan, assign, and supervise team technical activities. Active participation in functional analysis, documentation, testing, and initiative tracking. Skill in technically guiding and mentoring developers, promoting the team’s professional growth. Ability to make strategic technical decisions aligned with business objectives. Familiarity with AI integration tools and frameworks—such as foundational model APIs, cloud-based AI platforms, natural language processing (NLP), embeddings, and semantic search.
