Job Summary: We are seeking technical interns interested in learning and supporting the fabrication of metal structures, enclosures, and components for industrial projects in a workshop setting. Collaborative work environment and culture of continuous improvement. **Job Description:** At IDEI, we seek technical students or graduates in fields related to production, metalworking and mechanical engineering, production mechanics, welding, industrial maintenance, or similar disciplines, who are eager to learn and support the fabrication of metal structures, enclosures, supports, chassis, and components for industrial projects. This role is intended for individuals with a positive attitude, responsibility, and motivation to develop hands-on workshop skills, participating in cutting, preparation, assembly, welding, grinding, drilling, and assembly support processes. **Responsibilities:** * Assisting in cutting metallic materials. * Basic use of manual and electric workshop tools. * Assisting in grinding, angle-grinding, and abrasive tool operations. * Assisting in cutting using band saws, cutoff saws, plasma cutters, or other workshop equipment. * Preparing parts for welding: cleaning, beveling, aligning, and tacking. * Supporting welding and assembly of metal structures. * Basic interpretation of mechanical drawings and fabrication measurements. * Assisting in the assembly of metal structures, enclosures, supports, and components. * Compliance with safety regulations, proper use of PPE, and good workshop practices. * Maintaining order and cleanliness in the work area. **Requirements:** * Technical student or graduate in Production Mechanics, Metal Construction, Welding, or related fields. * Basic knowledge of workshop tool usage. * Basic ability to read and interpret technical drawings. * Interest in metal fabrication work. * Availability for on-site workshop work. * Responsibility, punctuality, and willingness to learn. * Commitment to workplace safety and order. **Desirable Knowledge:** * Experience using grinders, angle grinders, drills, band saws, or similar tools. * Basic welding knowledge. * Proficiency with measuring instruments: tape measure, vernier caliper, square, level, protractor. * Basic knowledge of metallic materials: sheets, pipes, angles, channels, profiles, and plates. * Basic knowledge of industrial safety and correct PPE usage. **Valued Competencies:** · Orderliness and attention to detail. · Practical judgment for fabrication tasks. · Effective communication with workshop and engineering teams. · Ability to learn quickly. · Proactivity and desire for self-improvement. · Careful handling of tools and equipment. · Commitment to work quality. · Teamwork capability. **Benefits:** * Hands-on learning through real industrial manufacturing projects. * Mentorship from experienced workshop and project personnel. * Development of technical skills in metalworking and mechanical engineering. * Collaborative work environment and culture of continuous improvement. * Opportunity for growth based on performance.
