Position Summary: Stantec is seeking an Intermediate Structural Engineer to design and analyze hydraulic and civil structures for mining, coordinate projects, and supervise drawings. Use of national and international standards (ACI, AISC, ASCE, AASHTO, USACE) **Requisition Number:** 23878BR **Description:** Stantec seeks to hire an Intermediate Structural Engineer for its offices in Peru, with a minimum of 7 years of experience. Key responsibilities include: * Structural design of hydraulic concrete works * Structural analysis and design of concrete and structural steel structures * Structural design using ultimate strength and allowable stress methods * Preparation of calculation reports, drawings, and specifications for hydraulic structure projects, dams, and civil works for mining * Coordination with the project team on planning, required information, deliverables, resources, etc. * Review, control, and approval of drafters’ drawings to ensure proper development and timely delivery * Peer design review (calculation reports, spreadsheets, models) * Design in accordance with national and international standards such as ACI, AISC, ASCE, AASHTO, and USACE. **Qualifications:** Requirements for this position are: * Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering * Valid professional license * Master’s degree in Structural Engineering * ADVANCED proficiency in English * Intermediate proficiency in the following software: * AutoCAD * Revit * SAP2000 * MathCAD * ANSYS, ABAQUS, or similar. **About Stantec:** We are active members of the communities we serve.
