Important vacancy details:
* Work location: Chimbote, Peru
* Working hours: Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
* **Work modality**: Flexible (on-site \+ remote)
* Willingness to travel within Peru
Main responsibilities:
* Monitor vehicle flow at the receiving and dispatch unit, registering trucks and drivers, verifying load capacity against dispatch timing, validating suitability for issuing required documents and transportation operations.
* Define loading tactics per company procedures, ensuring compliance with established parameters.
* Manage inventories of supplies, various materials, and equipment; plan rotational inventory activities; support comprehensive inventory execution; provide technical guidance to the team; and participate in physical item counting.
* Prepare reports and conduct dispatch performance analysis, monitoring logistics KPIs—particularly loading performance, idle time, loading/unloading volumes, and others—to support management decisions.
* Guide finished-product loading activities per shipping orders, adhering to current procedures and safety regulations.
* Issue/print, track, and control invoices and required documents; issue material invoices for stock replenishment per procedures; and maintain up-to-date filing records.
* Support transportation issue and complaint note analysis, assisting supervisors in developing and tracking action plans.
Required knowledge and skills:
* Professional degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics Technician, or related field.
* Solid logistics expertise.
* Strong interpersonal skills across diverse cultures;
* Minimum 2 years of experience directly related to the duties of this position.
