Position Summary: We are seeking an Accounting - Cost Analyst for a mining company, responsible for accounting analysis, report preparation, and financial project monitoring. Key Responsibilities: 1. Accounting account analysis with emphasis on costs and projects 2. Preparation of financial statement annexes, reports, and notes 3. Financial project monitoring and key performance indicator preparation A prominent company in the **Mining Sector** is currently seeking a **Cost Accounting Analyst**. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree or professional title in Accounting (specialization in cost accounting preferred). * 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting and financial analysis within medium- or large-sized companies. * Minimum 2 years of experience in cost analysis and profit-and-loss statements by cost center or business unit. * Experience in financial project monitoring (CAPEX/OPEX). Technical Knowledge: * IFRS applicable to the sector. * Cost accounting (job-order, process, standard costing, and variance analysis). * Project budgeting and financial control. * Intermediate/advanced Excel skills. * Accounting ERP (SAP B1). * Preferred: Power BI, Tableau, or other BI tools. **Main Responsibilities:** * Analyze accounting accounts with emphasis on costs and projects, identifying variances and trends. * Prepare financial statement annexes, reports, and notes (monthly, quarterly, and annual). * Review reasonableness of balances and propose accounting adjustments and reclassifications. * Analyze costs by cost center or project and explain variances versus budget. * Conduct financial monitoring of projects (execution, progress, and closure). * Prepare management reports and key performance indicators. **Working Hours and Benefits:** * Fully on-site – Miraflores * Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM; Saturday, 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM. * Includes weekday lunches (Monday to Friday) * Formal employment under the General Regime.
