Job Summary: We are seeking a welder with experience in mining or heavy industry to perform 3G-position welding and chute repairs, applying SMAW/FCAW processes. Key Highlights: 1. Experience in 3G welding and chute repair. 2. Work in mining or heavy industry with high risk. 3. Knowledge of welding blueprint reading and welding symbols. **REQUIREMENTS:** * Completed secondary education or technical training in welding. * Valid 3G welding certification (mandatory). * Minimum 3 years of welding experience in mining or heavy industry. * Proven experience in chute repair (wear, cracks, hardfacing). * Knowledge of welding blueprint reading and welding symbols. * Experience in high-risk work (heights, hot work, confined spaces). * Availability to work under mining shift schedules and at high geographic altitudes. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Perform 3G-position (vertical-up) welding on metal structures and components. * Carry out chute repair, reinforcement, and cladding (hoppers, ducts, and mineral transfer systems). * Apply SMAW (shielded metal arc welding) and/or FCAW (flux-cored arc welding) processes as required. * Prepare surfaces (cleaning, beveling, grinding) before and after welding. * Interpret welding blueprints and technical specifications (WPS). * Perform hot work in compliance with permits and safety procedures. * Inspect weld bead quality and make necessary corrections.
