ELECTRONIC BLAST PROGRAMMER

Description

Job Summary: Plan, coordinate, and execute blasting processes, ensuring product stock availability, managing resources, and generating detailed reports for continuous improvement. Key Highlights: 1. Complete design, programming, and execution of the blasting process. 2. Generation of reports for post-blast monitoring and improvement. 3. Training on products and addressing customer needs. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Plan and coordinate tasks with personnel involved in blasting operations. * Ensure adequate stock levels of DaveyTronic products at the operation site. * Verify availability of required resources at the operation site or request them as needed. * Perform blasting design, programming, connection, checking, charging, and detonation. * Collect blasting process data and generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on key performance indicators, progress, anomalies, downstream post-blast result tracking support, and improvement opportunities. * Conduct training sessions on products and their properties. * Ensure customer needs are met by addressing requirements and requests. * Coordinate blasting activities with the customer and provide process reports. REQUIREMENTS: * Minimum 2 years of experience in underground mining (preferred). * Minimum 2 years of experience in UG (underground) operations (preferred). * Minimum 1 year of experience with electronic initiation systems (preferred). * Mining Technician or related field. * Knowledge of explosives and detonators: usage and properties. * Blasting design software. * Knowledge of initiation sequence design. * Class AIIB driver's license (preferred). * Must reside in Lima, Pasco, or Huancayo
