Position Summary: Coordinate and execute the electronic initiation process for blasting, ensuring proper detonation and customer satisfaction, with a focus on planning, design, and reporting. Report generation and continuous improvement in blasting. **Mission or Objective**: Execute the electronic initiation process for blasting to ensure correct detonation according to customer requirements. **Responsibilities**: * Plan and coordinate tasks with personnel involved in blasting operations. * Ensure adequate stock levels of Daveytronic products at the operation site. * Perform blast design, scheduling, connection, checking, charging, and detonation. * Collect information from the blasting process and generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports regarding key performance indicators, progress, anomalies, downstream post-blast result tracking support, and improvement opportunities. * Conduct training sessions on products and their properties. * Ensure customer needs are met by addressing their requirements and expectations. * Coordinate blasting activities with the customer and provide process reports. **Requirements**: * Minimum 1 year of mining industry experience preferred. * Mining Technician or related field degree. * Knowledge of blasting processes preferred. * Class A2b or A1 driver’s license (3 years’ validity) preferred.
