Mission or objective: Execute and ensure that the electronic initiation process of blasting is carried out safely with proper detonation according to customer requirements. Functions: Plan and coordinate tasks with personnel involved in blasting operations. Ensure adequate stock of DaveyTronic products is available at the operation site. Verify availability of operational resources or request them as needed. Carry out the blasting design process, programming, connection, checking, charging, and detonation. Collect information from the blasting process and generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports regarding performance indicators, progress, anomalies, support in tracking downstream post-blast results, and improvement opportunities. Conduct training sessions on products and their properties. Ensure customer needs are met by addressing their requirements and demands. Coordinate blasting activities with the client and provide process reports. Requirements: * Minimum 2 years of mining experience preferred * Minimum 1 year of experience with electronic initiation systems preferred * Mining technician or related field * Blasting processes * Use and properties of explosives and detonators * Blasting design software * Knowledge of initiation sequence design * Class AIIB driver's license preferred
