Dairy Farm Administrator – Cañete
**JOB OBJECTIVE:**
Plan, organize, direct, and supervise the overall administration of the dairy farm, ensuring proper management of dairy cattle, productive efficiency, control of human and material resources, as well as compliance with health, environmental, and occupational safety regulations, in order to guarantee the farm’s sustainability and profitability.
**FUNCTIONS:**
* Administer and supervise the dairy farm’s productive activities.
* Manage prospecting and acquisition of new clients for the educational products and services offered at the Farm.
* Coordinate and control dairy cattle management (feeding, milking, health, reproduction, and animal welfare).
* Supervise farm staff by organizing shifts, tasks, and evaluating performance.
* Maintain administrative and operational records: inventories, supplies, equipment, feed, medications, and tools.
* Prepare and submit periodic production reports (milk volume, mortality, reproduction, costs, and expenses).
* Coordinate with veterinarians, suppliers, and external entities related to agricultural and livestock activities.
* Ensure compliance with health (SENASA), environmental, and occupational safety regulations.
* Manage maintenance of farm infrastructure (corrals, milking parlors, fences, equipment).
* Propose improvements to the farm’s productive and administrative processes.
* Safeguard assets and property assigned to the farm.
**REQUIREMENTS:**
**Academic Qualifications:**
\- Technician or professional degree in Agricultural Administration, Animal Science, Agronomic Engineering, Veterinary Medicine, or related fields.
**Experience:**
* Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in administration or supervision of farms, dairies, or livestock production units.
* Demonstrated experience in dairy cattle management (preferred).
**Specific Knowledge:**
* Dairy cattle management and production.
* Cost control and rural administration.
* Health regulations and good livestock practices.
* Basic computer skills (Excel, reporting).
* Knowledge of dairy cattle feed formulation.
