Job Summary: Supports the Resident in strategic implementation, manages mining safety and health, and inspects work areas and equipment to ensure regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities: 1. Strategic support in organizational planning. 2. Comprehensive management of mining safety, hygiene, and environmental protection. 3. Risk assessment and control in mining operations. * Supports the Resident in designing, implementing, and monitoring the organization’s strategic planning in coordination with the Management Committee. * Experience in mining rehabilitation projects and Mine Closure Plans. * Ensures compliance with mining safety and hygiene regulations, environmental controls, and occupational health standards, in accordance with current legislation and company guidelines. * Inspects working area conditions to verify their suitability. * Conducts daily 10-minute safety meetings with site personnel. * Inspects the presence and condition of required personal protective and safety equipment * necessary for workers to perform tasks with minimal risk. * Controls, evaluates, and mitigates high-risk activities on site, applying necessary corrective actions as required. * Assesses potential harm to workers from chemical substances and/or materials present in workplaces. * Prepares technical reports summarizing investigation findings and proposed recommendations. * Identifies and evaluates risks of occupational accidents and diseases. * Verifies implementation of corrective measures at workplaces where anomalies were identified. * Foresees required comprehensive safety programs for the research area. * Complies with organizational policies and procedures regarding integrated safety management. * Maintains orderly equipment and worksite, reporting any anomalies. * Prepares periodic reports on performed activities. * Verifies the entry of materials, tools, machinery and equipment, fixed assets, and personal protective equipment.
