Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Safety Engineer in the mining industry to supervise safety programs, identify risks, and propose corrective actions. Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead safety management in mining operations. 2. Supervise compliance with safety programs and standards. 3. Investigate incidents and promote a safety culture. At Manpower Peru, we seek top talent to fill the position of **Safety Engineer** in the Mining sector — your opportunity for a better future is here! **REQUIREMENTS:** * Licensed and registered Professional in Safety Engineering (preferred). * Minimum 4 years of experience in mining safety. * Experience in safety management within mine operations. * Knowledge of legal regulations on occupational health and safety. * Experience in identification and management of critical risks. * Experience in incident investigations (ICAM preferred). * Knowledge of management systems (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001\). * Proficiency in safety KPIs. * Proficiency in Excel and management tools. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Supervise compliance with safety programs in operations. * Conduct field inspections to identify risks and deviations. * Participate in operational and safety meetings (shift handovers). * Support leaders in managing critical risks. * Investigate incidents and propose corrective actions. * Prepare safety reports and indicators. * Coordinate activities of the safety inspection team. * Promote compliance with standards, procedures, and safety culture. * Implement measures to prevent accidents and improve safety performance.
