We are currently looking for the best talent to fill the vacancy of: **QUALITY ENGINEER** interested in working and gaining experience in a metal-mechanical industry company in Arequipa \- Cerro Colorado. **REQUIREMENTS:** * Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Metallurgical Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related fields. * Intermediate computer skills and Technical English. * Knowledge in welding inspections on structures, controls, and earthwork testing. * Ability to read and interpret construction and civil works blueprints. * Training as a quality inspector. * Technical knowledge in preparing technical reports and quality dossiers. * Two years of experience in similar positions. * Must reside in Arequipa. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Develop quality testing plans and/or protocols and inspection points. * Prepare inspection procedures for civil constructions and metal structures. * Review supplies and raw materials according to client standards. * Perform non-destructive testing (VT) visual inspection, (PT) liquid penetrant, (MT) magnetic particles, and ultrasonic when necessary. * Collect and review field inspection technical data on structures. * Prepare welding inspection records according to the type of test applied (VT, PT, MT). * Prepare post-inspection technical reports (VT, PT, MT) on quality. * Issue quality progress reports and prepare quality dossiers by discipline. * Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor related to the position. **COMPETENCIES:** * Organized and orderly person. * Ability to work under pressure. * Initiative. * Good communication skills. **OTHERS:** * Start date: Immediate * Work location: Camaná – Arequipa Job type: Full-time Application questions: * Where do you reside? * Please state your salary expectations. * Do you have immediate availability?
