Ensuring safety in blasting operations **Role Objective:** Support the blasting process by operating auxiliary equipment to ensure blasting is carried out as efficiently and safely as possible. **Main Responsibilities:** * Inspect equipment at the start and end of each shift, completing required documentation * Transport equipment and materials to and from the blasting area * Use equipment in its various configurations to cap blast holes and/or transport material, following specified sequences * Perform measurement, priming, stemming, and support during blast hole loading * Assist in unloading raw materials and explosives on site and at the magazine * Report hazardous situations to the relevant supervisor. **Requirements:** * Completion of secondary education is mandatory * Two years of experience in blasting operations is desirable * One year of experience transporting explosives and/or auxiliary equipment is desirable * A valid A2B driver's license is mandatory * Certification in operating auxiliary equipment is desirable * Must reside in Arequipa or nearby areas.
