SAFETY SUPERVISOR – LIFTING (MINING SECTOR) A mining company is seeking a qualified professional to fill the following position: Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or Mining Engineering. Registered and licensed professional (mandatory). Minimum of 120 hours of training in Occupational Health and Safety (certified diploma or courses). Minimum 3 years of experience as a Safety Supervisor for lifting operations at mining units. Experience working at Las Bambas and Hudbay (desirable). Knowledge of current Occupational Health and Safety regulations. Immediate availability. Main Responsibilities: Supervise compliance with safety standards for lifting operations. Verify proper use of PPE and adherence to procedures. Conduct inspections, incident reporting, and investigations. Lead safety talks and staff training sessions. Ensure compliance with legal regulations and client requirements.
