An inclusive, courageous, persuasive, and supportive culture Job Description We are looking for talent for the position of Machine & Tools Operator to carry out machine tool operation activities, ensuring they are performed in accordance with drawings, technical documents, standards, technical specifications, and quality regulations, following the guidelines of the Quality, Occupational Health and Safety Management System. Key Responsibilities Operate machine tools such as vertical lathes, horizontal lathes, chucks, milling machines, and others, in accordance with instructions, regulations, procedures, specifications, and manufacturer recommendations. Interpret drawings and technical documentation using material standards, specifications, and tolerance requirements. Use required measuring instruments, properly calibrated and certified, to ensure strict adherence to specifications in drawings and technical documents. Knowledge of mineral processing equipment. Comply with specifications provided in drawings and documentation while adhering to quality standards. Propose best practices to keep work procedures up to date and support continuous improvement efforts. Maintain your work equipment in optimal operating and safety condition. Immediately report any deviations from established procedures. Perform other duties assigned by your supervisor. Required Profile Three-year Technical Higher Education degree. Minimum 3 years of work experience performing similar functions in machining of large-tonnage mining equipment (desirable) or large-scale precision industrial equipment. Proficiency in operating machine tools: vertical lathe, chuck, milling machine, horizontal lathe, drilling machine. Metrology and drawing interpretation.
