Job Summary: We are seeking a Diesel Generator and Compressor Operator for inspections, maintenance, and equipment management in the mining sector. Key Highlights: 1. Analysis of parameters for failure prevention On behalf of our mining-sector client, we are looking for a ***Diesel Generator and Compressor Operator***. * **Academic Requirements:** Certified Technician in Maintenance Mechanics, Industrial Electricity, Electrotechnology, or related technical fields. **Experience:** * 2 years of experience operating power and/or compressed air plants in industrial or mining sectors **Essential Knowledge:** * Reading of electrical and pneumatic diagrams. * Operation of digital control panels (Deep Sea-, ComAp-type systems or similar). * Basic preventive maintenance of internal combustion engines and screw compressors. * Knowledge of industrial electricity and electrical safety. * Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. * Basic electric arc welding and oxy-fuel cutting. **Main Responsibilities:** * Perform technical inspections (checklists) and autonomous maintenance tasks (filter cleaning, condensate draining, fluid level verification). * Manage equipment startup and shutdown based on actual demand to optimize fuel and energy consumption. * Manage and supervise refueling and lubricant replenishment, ensuring product quality and preventing contamination. * Record and analyze parameters in management software or digital logbooks, identifying trend deviations (pressure, temperature, frequency) to prevent failures. * Support basic welding and component fabrication activities as operationally available and per supervisor's request. * Identify hazards and assess risks by applying controls, strictly complying with Safety Procedures (PETS), use of PPE, and other safety management tools. **Benefits:** * Formal employment with all statutory benefits. * 80% coverage under EPS health insurance. * Profit-sharing participation. * Opportunities for professional development and career progression within the company.
