Job Summary: Technical professional responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing blasting operations, ensuring product availability, and generating process reports. Key Highlights: 1. Planning and coordination of blasting tasks with involved personnel. 2. Design, scheduling, execution, and monitoring of blasting processes. 3. Conducting training sessions and addressing customer needs. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Plan and coordinate tasks with personnel involved in blasting operations. * Ensure adequate stock levels of DaveyTronic products at the operation site. * Verify availability of resources at the operation site or request them as needed. * Carry out the blasting design process, scheduling, connection, checking, loading, and detonation. * Collect blasting process data and generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on indicators, progress, anomalies, downstream post-blast result tracking support, and improvement opportunities. * Conduct training on products and their properties. * Ensure customer needs are met by addressing requirements and expectations. * Coordinate blasting operations with the customer and provide process reports. REQUIREMENTS: * Minimum 2 years of experience in mining (preferred). * Minimum 1 year of experience with electronic initiation systems (preferred). * Mining Technician or related field. * Knowledge of explosives and detonators: usage and properties. * Blasting design software. * Knowledge of initiation sequence design. * Class AIIB driver’s license (preferred).
