Responsible for quality testing and Non-Conformance Management. **JOB DESCRIPTION:** PROSECOR is seeking a **Quality Engineer (QA/QC)** specialized in passive fire protection to join our team on a fireproofing EPC project at a hydrocarbon processing plant (*brownfield*) in Pisco. **MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:** * Degree-holding professional, licensed and registered as a Mechanical Engineer, Metallurgical Engineer, Chemical Engineer, or related discipline. * Minimum three (03\) years of certified experience as a Quality Engineer or Supervisor on industrial projects (Oil \& Gas, Mining, or Energy). * Demonstrated technical experience in inspection and release of spray-applied fireproofing systems (**lightweight cementitious mortars such as ISOLATEK CAFCO FENDOLITE M\-II/P**) and dry-assembled systems (**fibrosilicate boards such as PROMATECT\-H by PROMAT**). * Proficiency in conducting quality tests for coatings: Dry Film Thickness (DFT) measurement, adhesion and cohesion tests (*Pull\-Off Test*), and verification of density of sprayed materials. * Extensive knowledge of preparation, structuring, and substantiation of Quality Dossiers and *Data Books* for client supervision. * Availability to work under a 5x2 schedule in the city of Pisco. **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (Advantages):** * Valid Coating Inspector certification (NACE CIP Level 1 or 2 / SSPC). * Familiarity with fire exposure standards applicable to hydrocarbons (UL\-1709\) and surface preparation specifications. **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Lead field inspections (ITP) across all project phases: from mechanical surface preparation through application of the moisture-resistant *Topcoat*. * Conduct and document adhesion tests (ensuring the required 910 kPa cohesion for the mortar) and thickness calibration (Pin Test / DFT) per RF\-90\ rating. * Perform metric inspection of cable tray enclosures (RF\-30\), verifying bolt spacing and proper thermal application of elastic firestop seals and blocks (PROMASTOP\-B and PROMASEAL\-S). * Issue daily release protocols and manage closure of Non-Conformities (NCR) jointly with project management and Pluspetrol supervision. **WHAT WE OFFER:** * Formal employment with all statutory benefits. * Compensation commensurate with the required level of specialization. * Integration into a high-performance technical team on a key corporate project.
