Job Summary: We are seeking a Laboratory Assistant to conduct sampling and analysis of raw materials, in-process products, and finished products, ensuring quality control throughout production. LABORATORY ASSISTANT LOCATION: PARAMONGA REQUIREMENTS: Completed secondary education Knowledge of: Good Manufacturing Practices, Sanitation, Industrial Safety and Hygiene, current ISO 9001 standard, and HACCP Basic-level Office software proficiency RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate proper segregation of cane fields entering the milling process. Perform sampling and analysis, preparing juice samples first. Sample and prepare raw material, in-process product, and finished product samples at the distillery and sugar processing facilities, according to quality plans. Sample and analyze boiler feedwater and blowdown water. Sample incoming supplies according to the quality plan. Conduct impurity evaluation of cane entering the milling process. Support implementation of the plant-wide pest control program (rodents, flies, etc.). Identify and immediately report to the Laboratory Supervisor and/or Laboratory Analyst any deviations occurring during sampling, conditioning, and sample preparation.
