Job Summary: A prominent transportation company seeks a Safety Engineer to implement and manage safety, health, and environmental systems at mining units. Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead occupational safety and health management. 2. Promote a culture of occupational risk prevention. 3. Represent the company in safety-related activities with clients. A prominent transportation company providing services to mining units is seeking the following profile: SAFETY ENGINEER - TACNA · WHAT DO YOU NEED? Graduate, licensed, and registered Mining/Metallurgical Engineer. (Mandatory) Knowledge of Mining Safety Legislation. Knowledge of regulations related to safety, occupational health, and environment. Minimum 03 years’ experience in open-pit mining. Driver’s license – minimum 03 years’ validity (Mandatory) Experience in transportation/mineral hauling/yellow line operations (Mandatory) Intermediate-level Office software proficiency. Immediate availability to work in Tacna under a 14x7 work schedule. · YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES? · Implement the Safety, Environment, and Health System according to the company’s established policies, aligned with the Client’s Management System. Ensure compliance with standards, procedures, practices, plans, programs, and regulations. Coordinate with operational areas to provide safe and healthy working conditions across all work locations, adhering to organizational procedures. Promote a culture of occupational risk prevention and environmental protection, ensuring understanding across all organizational levels. Report safety statistics and indicators to the unit resident, central office Safety Department Head, and the highest-level executive. Responsible for occupational safety and health management within their work front. Develop and execute staff training programs. Represent the company before the client in safety-related activities. Manage and lead internal audits.
