Employee Contract Type: Empleado de Plazo Determinado (duración determinada) Job Description: HEALTH TECHNICAL MANAGER The objective of the Health Manager position is to maximize the sustainable impact of World Vision Angola's Health Manager work on the lives of the most vulnerable children. To this end, the Health Manager must lead the health sector across the organization and optimize health's contribution to the National strategy. The Health Manager is responsible for ensuring and reporting on health quality and impact, with a greater focus on the Global Fund grant in the three target provinces (Benguela, Cuanza Sul and Bié). RESPONSIBILITIES: Technical Program Development and Management (TP):* contribute to the technical health content in training activities organized by MISAU, PNCM, as needed in the provinces of Benguela, Cuanza Sul and Bié; * Develop a technical supervision package for national, provincial and district teams to support the contextualization process and review and finalize contextualized record frameworks in coordination with district teams; * Develop national level objectives for training and supervision of Health Units in Benguela, Cuanza Sul and Bié in collaboration with DM&E; * Prepare staff for implementation of new/revised training protocols in health units, including preparation of implementation guidelines and development and delivery of training packages to MISAU frontline staff; * Quarterly analysis of training and supervision reports and expenditures to monitor implementation, identifying and resolving issues whenever necessary; * Review and approve the budget and semesterly training and supervision plan in Benguela, Cuanza Sul and Bié; * Conduct program monitoring and technical support visits twice per quarter, supervising training components, observing fieldwork, providing technical guidance, monitoring participation and quality assurance in the implementation of key project models.
