On behalf of our client in the southern region, we are seeking a Chemical Laboratory Supervisor. **Job Description** * Lead personnel under supervision in daily operations to ensure work quality, providing both administrative and technical direction while complying with Pucamarca’s established policies, standards, and procedures regarding safety, environment, health, and quality. * Knowledge of mass balances and statistics applied to mineral processing. * Responsible for compliance with legal regulations, Pucamarca’s internal standards, and the internal labor regulations. * Schedule and assign tasks to subordinates according to client priorities and operational requirements. * Supervise and/or conduct metallurgical tests: * Gold flotation tests. * Comminution tests: Bond Work Index, SGI, and Abrasion Index. * Sedimentation tests (flocculant and/or coagulant). * Particle size analysis (grinding & flotation). * Metallurgical tests for reagent evaluation (collectors, frothers, flocculants, ceramic media). * Planning and sampling at the Concentrator Plant. * Grinding circuit: SAG mill, ball mill, pebble crusher, vibrating screen (under-screen / over-screen), cyclone cluster (feed, underflow, and overflow). * Bulk flotation circuit (global or staged sampling: Ro-Scv, regrind stage, cleaner stage). * Sampling from concentrate storage areas and emergency ponds for the concentrator plant’s monthly inventory. * Continuously identify and report to the laboratory manager any accidents, incidents, unsafe acts, or substandard conditions observed during operations or other assigned activities. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree, duly licensed and registered with the corresponding professional association, in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Metallurgical Engineering. * Minimum 5 years of experience in similar positions. * Valid driver’s license (Class AI or higher) — mandatory. * Knowledge of sampling and metallurgical testing. * Knowledge of metallurgical testing and mineral processing. * Knowledge of sampling and sample preparation. * Experience in process control for crushing, grinding, flotation, thickening, and filtration circuits. * Experience developing metallurgical balances for grinding, bulk gold flotation, and selective gold flotation. **Additional Information** * Inclusion in payroll from day one. * Statutory life insurance. * Corporate agreements.
