Mining company with operations in the province of Camaná requires a Mining Operations and Plant Manager with strategic leadership capabilities, an engineering background, and experience in mining management, responsible for supervising all operations (extraction, processing, transportation) to maximize efficiency, productivity, and profitability, while ensuring strict compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards. The candidate must possess strong leadership, planning, data analysis, problem-solving, team management skills, and the ability to work under pressure. **FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES** Lead and manage mine and plant operations, complying with contracts, policies, and established guidelines, making appropriate use of organizational resources and aligning with current labor regulations. Ø Manage and supervise all phases of mining operations, from extraction to transportation, including mineral processing. Ø Plan, develop, and implement operational plans that optimize productivity, efficiency, and profitability, meeting production targets. Ø Safety and environmental management, ensuring strict compliance with safety, occupational health, and environmental protection standards, and implementing contingency plans. Responsible for developing and implementing the operational safety plan. Ø Coordinate effectively and collaboratively with other departments such as mine, plant, administration, geology, planning, maintenance, mine services, and plant services to ensure timely support. Ø Cost control, managing and optimizing production costs and productivity, using key performance indicators (KPIs) such as extracted tonnage, grade, dilution, among others. Ø Resource and personnel management, efficiently managing human and material resources, motivating and leading the team to achieve goals. Ø Prepare monthly and annual management indicator reports. **REQUIREMENTS** Ø Good physical and health condition. Ø Not less than 35 years old, nor more than 50 years old. Ø Graduate and licensed professional in Mining Engineering, Geology, or Metallurgy. Ø Postgraduate studies or diplomas related to the position are valued. Ø Ten years of experience in underground mining, with some experience in similar roles, and knowledge of gold mining and gold mineral processing. Ø Regulatory knowledge in mining, labor, safety, and environment (ISO 45001, 14001). Ø Proficiency in mining software, management tools (ERP, SAP, Excel), and financial tools for cost and budget analysis.
