In Peru, we operate in most economic sectors such as mining, agriculture, and fishing, forming part of the value chain of their products and services. **Job Description** * Verify the calibration status and operational condition of equipment related to their work. * Verify routine quality controls performed in areas related to their work. * Weigh samples. * Directly support shift coordinators for proper management of the laboratory's operational workflow. * Evaluate and report results obtained to the laboratory supervisor. * Maintain order and cleanliness in the laboratory and comply with laboratory safety regulations. * Schedule work according to analysis priorities indicated by superiors. * Participate in the development of techniques or analysis methods to be used in the case of new methodologies. * Prepare reagents and standardize solutions. * Perform analyses according to established procedures and contract scope. (Gravimetry, volumetry, AAS, etc.) * Neutralize process effluents if necessary. * Record and segregate solid waste. * Report necessary data and information for result evaluation. * Validate data and information obtained in result evaluation whenever authorized. * Wash laboratory materials. * Ensure compliance with quality control records for laboratory equipment and instruments. * Ensure proper use of equipment and instruments associated with their work. * Maintain the integrated quality and safety system. * Ensure conformity of data to be reported, complying with established quality controls. * Complete technical records to ensure traceability of the analysis. * Comply with SGS Life Rules and safety tools provided by SGS and UM. **Requirements** * University graduate/technical bachelor or title holder in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Mineral Processing, or related fields. * 1 to 2 years of experience in analysis, determination of carbon and sulfur, and/or mineral processing, copper volumetry, sequential copper analysis. * Intermediate level computer skills. **Additional Information** * Intermittent payroll inclusion from the first day. * Life insurance as per law. * Constant training. * Corporate agreements.
