Job Summary: We are seeking Crane Operators to conduct inspections, report anomalies, assess risks, and ensure compliance with standards and procedures in mining. Key Highlights: 1. Teamwork and proactivity in performing job functions At **Consorcio Logístico Sagitario**, we are looking for **CRANE OPERATORS** with experience operating low-bed trailers to join us at MINERA CHINALCO, located in the Toromocho area at 4,500 meters above sea level. Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years of verifiable experience to work under a 2x1 shift system, with formal payroll and all statutory benefits. If you are from a province, the company covers transportation fares and relocation allowances to the mine. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Conduct a thorough pre-shift equipment inspection (e.g., “vuelta del gallo”). * Immediately report any equipment anomalies before, during, and after shifts. * Assess workplace hazards prior to positioning equipment; immediately notify the supervisor if any substandard conditions are identified. * Comply with and align to project standards and procedures. * Apply rigging techniques (e.g., slings, shackles, and lifting hooks), considering load capacities, specifications, and characteristics. * Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) — helmet, safety goggles, vest, gloves, safety footwear, and other PPE specified in procedures per daily job requirements. * Properly secure the work zone and remove unauthorized personnel from the area. * Safeguard and protect company assets assigned for job performance (e.g., radios, retractable lanyards, harnesses, vehicles, etc.), beginning with equipment organization and cleanliness. * Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor within the scope of functional competence. * Comply with work standards outlined in RIT, RISST, RITRAN, IPER, IPERC, and JSA. **EXPERIENCE:** * Minimum 3 years of certified experience in load lifting across industrial, mining, construction, civil works, plant shutdowns, and similar projects. * Technical personnel preferred. * Documented competence through courses and/or certifications issued by previous employers. * Basic knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance (non-mandatory). * Familiarity with international standards (ASME B30\) that define best practices for lifting operations. * Ability to read and accurately interpret load charts and diagrams for the equipment being operated. * Knowledge of signaling methods per standard B30\.5\. * Extensive knowledge in developing rigging plans. * Strong teamwork capability and soft skills (e.g., effective communication with assigned rigger). * Proactive work attitude and commitment to continuous improvement. **AVAILABILITY:** * Willingness to work under a 14x7 schedule or other special/operational arrangements as required by business needs. * Willingness to travel domestically.
