Job Summary: Conduct sampling and chemical analysis to ensure quality control of raw materials and intermediate products, including on-site mine monitoring and emulsion research. Key Responsibilities: 1. Ensure quality control of raw materials and intermediate products. 2. Travel to the mine for quality and product performance monitoring. 3. Laboratory research on emulsions and reactivity analysis. Mission: Perform sampling and chemical analysis of various agents involved in the production process to ensure quality control of raw materials and intermediate products across different plants; monitor emulsions at the mine; conduct laboratory emulsion research; conduct laboratory emulsion research and reactivity analysis. Responsibilities: * Travel to the mine to monitor products, verifying their quality and performance. * Issue quality certificates for raw material or product control to provide such information to customers. * Prepare reports on various tests conducted to provide such information to customers. * Verify raw material stock levels at the plant and cross-check with warehouse records to ensure necessary supply. * Support verification of raw material stock levels at the plant and request procurement of required raw materials for various tests to ensure timely material availability. * Support production by advising on correct production parameters that ensure product quality, ensuring delivered products meet company-defined standards. * Actively collaborate with plant operators, colleagues from the same department, and shift supervisors to ensure the final product meets established standards; interact with mine personnel to provide technical support; and coordinate with other departments within the plant to resolve issues. * Conduct laboratory-level sampling and analysis, including external plant effluents, upstream water from Los Molinos River, and downstream water, supported by supervision to verify required chemical solutions for plants. * Perform periodic inspection, cleaning, and maintenance of laboratory instruments and/or equipment to maintain operational status and promptly report deterioration. * Analyze reactivity and sleep time of mine samples; report analysis results as well as occurrences and/or deviations from technical specifications to alert issues arising during development of intermediate and final products. * Generate periodic reports on analyses and incidents to facilitate decision-making in problem resolution. * Analyze chemical composition of non-conforming products reported by customers or generated at the plant to identify root causes of non-conformity and implement corrective actions. * Recommend technical or methodological improvements in analysis of intermediate and final products; develop new formulations; analyze results; and issue reports to optimize product development. * Conduct research involving variation of raw materials and identify resulting product variations to improve operational outcomes through innovation. * Develop and/or update analytical procedures according to HSECQ\-PSM standards to optimize technical processes and maintain compliance with current standards. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree and/or professional title in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related fields. * One (1) year of experience in quality control areas within industrial companies. * Knowledge of sampling techniques, explosive emulsion analysis, water analysis, and analysis by * Knowledge of the production process in emulsion plants. * Knowledge of environmental management and occupational safety. * Intermediate-level proficiency in Office, SAP, and Power BI.
