Job Summary: Supervise compliance with the safety, occupational health, and environmental management system to reduce deviations and losses. Key Responsibilities: 1. Mission and Objective: Supervise compliance with all elements of the safety, occupational health, and environmental management system to reduce process deviations that may cause loss of personnel, equipment, and/or operational continuity Responsibilities: Monitor compliance with safety regulations. * Support work permit management. • Support community relations management • Participate in social programs and corporate social responsibility initiatives • Channel and report conflicts or incidents involving communities * Follow up on the action plan for controlling identified risks. * Participate in baseline IPERC development and monitor its updating. * Advise line management on risk inventory generation. * Conduct SSOMA training, inductions, and drills as per the training program. * Prepare monthly SSOMA management reports with indicators and supporting reports. * Analyze accidents using HSEC system methodologies. * Identify exposure agents and halt operations in high-risk situations. * Ensure supervisory presence during high-risk activities. * Report progress and compliance with the SSOMA program. * Supervise use of PPE and compliance with the SSOMA management system. * Comply with PETS procedures; conduct OPT, OPS, and inspections. * Report incidents and participate in investigations and corrective action closure. Requirements: + Preferably 4 years of experience in safety and/or SSOMA within mining operations + Preferably 2 years of experience in blasting + Degree holder and registered professional in mining engineering, geology, metallurgy, and/or related fields + Training or specialization studies in safety and environment, with a minimum duration of 120 hours
