**CQA Supervisor**
An engineering, supervision, and infrastructure management company specializing in mining infrastructure requires:
Profile
* Licensed and registered Civil Engineer.
* Minimum of **5 years of experience as a CQA Supervisor** in mining projects.
* Specialization or solid knowledge in Geotechnics.
* Proven experience in CQA supervision for tailings storage facility closure, tailings dams, or similar geotechnical projects.
* Participation in at least **2 projects of similar scale**.
* Experience in soil mechanics laboratory and execution of field and laboratory tests.
* Knowledge of technical specifications, quality control, and construction procedures.
* Intermediate or advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Leadership, planning, and decision-making capabilities.
* Availability to work at a mining unit under shift-based regime.
Responsibilities
* Supervise quality assurance and quality control (CQA) during project execution.
* Review drawings, technical specifications, and related project documentation.
* Verify proper execution of field and laboratory tests for quality control of materials and construction processes.
* Supervise earthworks, topographic control, compaction, and geosynthetics activities.
* Validate quality test results and issue corresponding technical reports.
* Review and validate topographic data, construction progress, and valuations.
* Coordinate with contractors, laboratories, surveying teams, and clients to ensure project objectives are met.
* Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
* Identify risks and propose technical solutions during construction activities.
* Replace the Supervision Manager when required, ensuring operational continuity of the project.
Desirable
* Experience in mine closure and environmental liability projects.
* Experience in supervision of tailings facilities, dams, and geotechnical works.
* Knowledge of HSEC management systems and mining safety standards.
