Job Description: We are a technology services partner and are looking for a Support Technician in the Province to provide assistance with computing equipment and printers of various brands (Lexmark, Xerox, HP, Brother, among others). The work will be based on client demand under an independent service model (no formal payroll). \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ Main Responsibilities: On computing equipment (PCs and laptops): * Diagnosis, repair, and preventive/corrective maintenance. * Installation and configuration of operating systems (Windows, basic Linux). * Formatting, backup, data migration, and recovery. * Hardware assembly and upgrades. On printers (Lexmark, Xerox, HP, Brother, etc.): * Installation, configuration, and driver updates. * Preventive maintenance (cleaning, adjustments, consumables inspection). * Corrective maintenance (paper jams, printing issues, part replacements). * Network setup (IP configuration, print queues, shared printers). * Diagnosis of electronic and mechanical failures. * Inspection and reporting on the status of assigned equipment. \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ Requirements: * Technical degree in Computing, Electronics, Computer Science, or related fields. * Minimum of 1 year of experience in PC, laptop, and printer support. * Solid knowledge of hardware and software. * Proficiency with Windows operating systems (essential). * Basic networking knowledge (network printer setup). * Customer-oriented, proactive, and good communication skills. * Immediate availability to work in the Province (cases will be assigned in the city where the technician resides).
