Regulatory compliance and procedures control **TRANSMISSION PROJECTS SAFETY, HEALTH, ENVIRONMENT AND QUALITY SUPERVISOR / LAMBAYEQUE** **REQUIREMENTS:** Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Electrical Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering or other related engineering disciplines. Minimum 10 years’ experience supervising transmission lines and substations projects of 220kV or higher. Intermediate Excel skills. (Mandatory) AutoCAD knowledge (Desirable) Knowledge of integrated management systems: Safety, health, environment and quality. Knowledge of blueprint reading Knowledge of costs and budgeting Basic English proficiency **RESPONSIBILITIES:** Supervise construction works and contractors to verify compliance with safety, health, environment and quality requirements. Supervise compliance with the project’s legal requirements and CVC requirements regarding safety, health, environment and quality. Review, comment on, raise observations about, and/or approve contractor’s progress valuations based on quantifiable work units. Review, comment on, raise observations about, and/or approve contractor’s construction procedures. Supervise compliance with safety, health and environment requirements and procedures during civil works execution, structure erection, cabling installation (power, shielding and data), high-voltage equipment installation, control equipment installation, protection equipment installation, telecommunications equipment installation, and inductive equipment installation; likewise, safeguard contractor’s quality control records. Review and control the safety, health and environment compliance file, as well as the project’s quality file. Supervise that contractors cause minimal impact on third parties and/or compensate affected residents for damages. Perform daily monitoring of construction progress, and submit weekly and monthly supervision reports covering safety, health, environment and quality compliance. Comply with, and ensure contractors comply with, organizational and environmental authority regulations and procedures regarding occupational safety, health, environment and quality. Plan, direct, control and disseminate across all project areas the implementation and development of the company’s Safety, Health, Environment and Quality programs for its projects and services. Promote campaigns related to safety, occupational health and environmental prevention. Keep the SIG/HSQE Coordinator informed regarding safety and environmental matters throughout the assigned project. Inspect field equipment and tools and notify for correction of any defects. Immediately report accidents/incidents to the Project Manager through your supervision. Report accidents to the insurance provider and complete the medical assistance request form. Meet established deadlines for accident and incident reporting, as well as for supplementary reports thereon, including submission of supporting documentation. Ensure all representatives of contracted companies understand the project’s risk level, and that required controls and procedures are in place to ensure risks are identified and controlled. Track completion of 100% of occupational medical examinations for personnel assigned to the project before commencement, during, and upon completion of the project. Implement, execute and monitor environmental commitments outlined in the project’s environmental instrument, using the Environmental Instruments’ Environmental Commitments Compliance Matrix format, maintaining respective records. Conduct field inspections to verify compliance with Safety, Health, Environment and Quality standards. Maintain all records and evidence of plan and program implementation, inspections, investigations, etc., in a digital portal.
