Job Summary: Execute the electronic initiation process for blasting, including task coordination, design, programming, and detonation of blasts, as well as report generation. Key Responsibilities: 1. Generation of reports and post-blast monitoring **Mission or Objective**: Execute the electronic blasting initiation process to ensure proper detonation in accordance with client requirements. **Responsibilities**: * Plan and coordinate tasks with personnel involved in blasting operations. * Ensure adequate stock levels of Daveytronic products at the operation site. * Carry out the blasting design process, programming, connection, checking, charging, and detonation. * Collect information from the blasting process and generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on key performance indicators, progress, anomalies, downstream post-blast result tracking support, and improvement opportunities. * Conduct training sessions on products and their properties. * Ensure customer needs are met by addressing their requirements and expectations. * Coordinate blasting activities with the client and provide process-related reports. **Requirements**: * Minimum 1 year of mining experience preferred * Mining Technician or related field degree * Knowledge of blasting processes preferred * Class A2b or A1 driver’s license preferred (valid for at least 3 years)
